Birthday Beading Parties

Kittie's Kreations offers daytime Birthday Parties for Children of different age groups. Bring your Pizza;beverages and birthday cake and spend a couple hours assisting the children making a bracelet or necklace, Phone charm, anklet. Price varies by project package selected;and a two week advance reservation is required. Our room accommodates up to 8 Children. 1 Adult must accompany parties of four or less and 2 adults for parties of 5 to 8. Cost is $15.00 per hour plus project Supplies.

Demonstrations & On-site Classes

Churches, schools and other organizations may find it desirable to have Kittie’s Kreations do an on-site demonstration or class for a larger audience.  Basic jewelry making, bead stitching and lampworking are adaptable to such presentations.  A nominal fee may be required to cover cost or materials.  Contact Kittie to discuss the possibilities.

General Information

The basic techniques of making beaded jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, earrings, etc...) are demonstrated and can be observed free during the normal course of business and our regular business hours.  Our ability to answer questions is dependant on how busy the store is at the time.  Helping you develop your capabilities is important to us, though.  Thus, anytime we are not busy serving our customers, we’ll be happy to spend a few minutes with you to grow your knowledge and skills, even helping with difficult projects.  However, registering for and attending a structured training session is recommended for you to get the most beneficial, hands-on learning experience.

Other

·         Classes are offered and regularly scheduled as interest warrants.

·         Advance registration and base-fee payment for training sessions and parties is required.  A minimum 24-hour cancellation notice is expected towards receiving full refund of fees.

·         One-on-one instruction of most beading topics can be arranged at $24.00/hour, one hour minimum, plus project materials costs.

·         Class participants must be 14-years of age or older.  Children cannot be accommodated.

·         Basic tools for making beaded jewelry will be provided (cutters, crimpers, pliers, bead mats).  Participants are required to furnish their own needles, specialty tools, bead boards, etc...

Ladies Night Out

Come alone or with a girlfriend and enjoy creating a necklace, bracelet or something else with others who enjoy beading too.  Bring your own beads or choose from our great selection.  Bring your own music and favorite beverage to liven the party  Fee:  $10 each to cover hosting expenses.

Mother/Daughter Beading Night

First, basic instruction is provided on making beaded jewelry.  Then, mom and daughter will be given assistance in making a keepsake jewelry item (i.e.: necklace, bracelet, earrings).  Cost: $40 per couple.  2-hour sessions scheduled as interest warrants.

Husband & Wife PMC Night

An opportunity for couples to share time together while getting an introduction to PMC.  You’ll craft a simple pendant or charm, or making a casing for a lampwork or fused glass item you already have using PMC (Precious Metal Clay) material.  Kittie will give basic instructions and assist you in preparing your item for firing in the kiln.  Depending on what you choose to make and its complexity, the extent of completeness towards firing will vary.  This is a hands-on class for both of you to participate in.  In any case, kiln time can be scheduled to fire your project.  Cost: $100 per couple plus PMC project materials.  Class: Scheduled weekdays by appointment.
