Currently specializing in wire and bead animals, Kay Whitlow has been taught and exposed to a wide variety of art and craftwork throughout her life. Starting at a young age she's done candle making, graphic design, dream-catchers and even dabbled in music.
Starting in high school she became fascinated with wire. In addition to glass beads she learned to create spiders with simple crafting wire. From there she went on to formulate her own unique designs resulting in a wide variety of creatures. Now, she's putting her designs onto paper and teaching others how to make their own 'beaded menagerie'.
