My name is Carol. My interest in creating jewelry began around 2000, when I stumbled on a Mineralogical Society that had a great workshop. I had finally found my creative outlet - cutting stones! Once I had amassed a rather large collection of polished Cabochon I needed to find a way to wear them. Traditional Wire Wrapping was the obvious first course. But, being a little earthy and out of the ordinary - OK weird - my cabs weren't a standard shape and I thought the traditional wrap method became the statement, instead of the rocks I had labored over. Experimentation brought me to what I call Minimalist Wire Wrapping. When I then stumbled on Kitties Kreations, I was in Hog Heaven!! I have also worked in Silver Soldering, Seed Beading, and Cold Connections. I'm looking forward to trying enamels and resins to take advantage of the many wonderful possibilities in the art jewelry world! My motto seems to be "If you can imagine it, There's a way to get there!" I really enjoy puzzles.
