HI,
my name is Miranda. To me there is nothing better than a keepsake that you have
poured yourself and your time into. I would have to say my crafting started
with scrapbooking, I love being able to capture my memories with stories and
color. I have been scrapbooking for quite some time, and I am always coming up
with projects for my kids and I to do. I guess I need to thank my mother-in-law
for my new love for PMC, she believed this would be something I would enjoy and
do well with. Awhile back she gave me a gift certificate to take a PMC class
and I fell in love with it from there. It is so cool to be able to make your
ideas come to life in the jewelry. To mold and shape the clay when it is soft,
and then the end result being a pure silver piece. My favorite part is the end
result.

This
is the perfect way to experiment with PMC. Get a feel for the clay without
diving into all the upfront cost of the tools and supplies needed. Learn
whether or not this will be your new passion. In the classes we will experiment
with different techniques, what you can use for tools, and just how far you can
push the clay. Tools are provided. Classes will run from three to four hours.
The classes will be on the small size for more one on one attention.

Beginning
PMC class: Basic charms
are the perfect way to start out. In this class we will learn the basics about
working with PMC from clay form to the finished product. You will learn to
create your own charms using different tools and methods. You can expect to
make a two to three charms depending on the size. Should you choose, you can
also add a stone to your charm.

Beginning PMC class: In this case we will learn to incorporate PMC
paper into our pieces. PMC paper is easy to work with and adds just a little
more to your piece. We will be making a pendant with PMC and using PMC paper to
embellish.

Intermediate
PMC class: In this class we will learn to add more dimension to our
pieces We will be making the rose pictured here. This rose is sculpted mostly
by hand with the use of only a few tools. While this takes a little more
patience the end result is amazing.

Intermediate
PMC class: In this class we will learn to
create these cute little bead charms. Learning to make these small charms is
a great way to get a fill for making rings. While there are a few more steps
to making these this will give you a feel for it. You can use my ideas for
making the charms or bring ideas of your own. You should be able to make at
least three of these charms in the class.
